We produce slotted or blind sectors for ball mills (coal, raw and cooked), obtained from NiCrMo alloy steel sheets rolled to different thicknesses.
Our sectors are assembled in the different diaphragms starting from the drying chambers passing through the intermediate diaphragms, to the discharge diaphragm.
The sectors are cut and machined on CNC machining centers to ensure maximum precision and correspondence to the design.
The louver lights are obtained by CNC machining without any shape preclusion.
The fixing holes of the bolts are made by mechanical machining, so as to guarantee perfect fixing to the diaphragm holder.
Depending on the application (conditions or positions inside the mill) where there is greater wear, the best material is chosen, using steels with increased alloy elements to allow greater durability.
All sectors are hardened to give uniform hardness throughout the thickness to ensure wear resistance without loss of premature performance.
In the absence of drawings, we can offer a technical survey service and technical assistance for monitoring the performance / wear of the plates in operation.
Possibility of supplying special nuts and bolts where necessary.
Our NiCrMo steels have the following advantages:
allowing instant changes and product improvements at no additional cost
thanks to excellent wear resistance and good impact resistance
With transfer of spheres and material between the different chambers
Possibility of being used up to a minimum residual thickness of 8-10mm
Short manufacturing times
